BHP Group (ASX:BHP) partnered with procurement and community-development specialist C-Res to support local and Indigenous small businesses to become company suppliers through its Local Buying Program, the miner said in a statement on Thursday.
The company invests funds into the Local Buying Foundation for every transaction made through the program, per the statement.
