Asian banks have led the charge for Qatar National Bank's $2.5 billion syndicated loan, which will be used to refinance a $2 billion three-year facility signed in October 2023, Bloomberg said in a report on Thursday citing sources.

DBS Holdings' (SGX:D05) DBS Bank, HSBC (HKG:0005), Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (HKG:1398, SHA:601398), Mizuho Bank (TYO:8411), and Standard Chartered (HKG:2888) have been mandated to act as lead arrangers and bookrunners for the loan.

The loan has been priced at 75 basis points over the Secured Overnight Financing Rate.

All the banks mentioned did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for a comment.
