Terumo, CSL Plasma Mutually Terminate Supply Agreement; Terumo Expects $610 Million Loss

Terumo (TYO:4543) has mutually agreed with CSL Plasma to end their supply agreement for source plasma collection devices, and expects a loss of $610 million, according to a Thursday Tokyo bourse filing.

The loss comprises $450 million in non-cash impairment losses and $160 million in transition, termination, and restructuring costs.

Subsequently, Terumo revised its full-year guidance for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2027, cutting profit attributable to owners of the parent to 120 billion yen from 193.1 billion yen initially.

Basic earnings per share estimates dropped to 81.35 yen from 130.91 yen, while revenue targets were cut to 1.23 trillion yen from 1.239 trillion yen.
