Netease (NTES) unit NetEase Cloud Music and media technology company gamma have agreed to a multi-year partnership in China, the companies said on Thursday.

The Netease unit will serve as a launch platform for licensed recordings from gamma's roster of artists including Ye, Mariah Carey Snoop Dogg, and more, the companies said.

The partnership will also create opportunities for collaboration in areas such as artist promotion, cultural exchange, original music content, and other initiatives aimed at engaging with audiences in China, the companies said.

Financial details of the partnership were not disclosed.
