Following the buyback, the company’s outstanding share count (excluding treasury shares) slipped by 0.00299% to 10.05 billion shares. Treasury stock rose to 0.90 million shares, while the aggregate issued share capital remained unchanged at 10.05 billion shares.
The purchase was executed under the share repurchase mandate granted by shareholders on 27 May 2026, which authorises the company to buy back up to 1.00 billion shares. Cumulative repurchases under this mandate now stand at 0.90 million shares, equivalent to 0.00896% of the issued shares when the mandate was approved.
All regulatory requirements of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange’s Main Board Rules were met, and the company is subject to a 30-day moratorium—ending 7 November 2026—on issuing new shares or disposing of treasury shares following the repurchase.
