Haier Smart Home to Cancel All 79.39 Million Repurchased D-Shares

On October 8, Haier Smart Home Co.,Ltd. (ASX: 600690) released an update on its D-share repurchase program.
The announcement shows that HAIER SMARTHOME (ASX: 06690) repurchased a total of 79.3924 million D-shares, all of which will be cancelled.
Combined with the 74,541,486 A-shares announced for cancellation on August 31, Haier Smart Home is expected to cancel at least 153.93 million shares this year, representing approximately 1.64% of its total share capital at the beginning of the year.
This move will boost earnings per share and dividend per share, enhancing shareholder returns.
