Humana shares surged 14.7% in morning trading, while rival Alignment Healthcare tumbled 23.8%, after newly released Medicare Advantage Star Ratings revealed sharp reversals in ratings for the two insurers.

SpaceX struck a deal on Thursday to acquire a nationwide low-band spectrum portfolio, moving Elon Musk's satellite venture closer ‌to mounting a direct, orbital challenge to legacy wireless giants across the United States. SpaceX shares gained 2.7% in morning trading. Meanwhile, shares of traditional wireless operators fell. T-Mobile fell 9%; AT&T fell 8%; Verizon and AST SpaceMobile fell 6%.

Apple shares fell 2.5% in morning trading. Apple has told some suppliers to cut production of components for its newly launched iPhone 18 Pro and ​iPhone 18 Pro Max, as soaring memory chip costs ‌and price increases have dampened consumer demand, Nikkei Asia reported on Friday.
