Prudential names Adrian de Souza as new Company Secretary

Prudential (K6S) said on Oct, 9 2026 that Adrian de Souza will succeed Tom Clarkson as Company Secretary with immediate effect.
De Souza is a solicitor qualified in England and Wales and brings more than 30 years of experience in legal, governance and company secretarial roles, most recently serving as Group Company Secretary at Standard Chartered plc.
Prudential’s board remains chaired by Douglas Flint, while Anil Wadhwani continues as Chief Executive Officer alongside the existing team of independent non-executive directors.
